Piute County will host the Sixth Annual Paiute Trail Jamboree. The event is open to UTVs / Side x Sides as well as ATVs. Once again the event will be held in Marysvale, Utah at the City Park. We have had five years of tremendous success, the event is four days long with great fun and riding. The event had over 900 people in attendance in 2013 and over 30 vendors. The Paiute Trail Jamboree has received accolades from the off-road community for the outstanding success, organization and efforts of the entirely volunteer staff that put this event on.
Event Chairperson Milo Medley states, “Our event is unique in that it is FREE to the public; we offer shirts, meals, and raffles but all of those are optional. The T-Shirts and meals can be purchased on line when you register and registration if FREE. If you're looking for a great low cost vacation, look no further than our Jamboree here in Marysvale." The Paiute Trail Jamboree is focused on being a family-friendly event; families are highly encouraged to bring all the kids. Featuring many kids’ events such as a "dirty-dash" through the mud obstacle course, kid’s drag strip foot races and more. There is also the famous King of the Hill course, Mud Pit Belly Flop contest for adults and kids, Blind Man Obstacle Course, Mud Races, Show N Shine, a Poker Run, Tractor Pull and much more. The Jamboree organizes Dinner on the Mountain, guided rides, live entertainment as well as breakfast and dinner each day.
The Sixth Annual Paiute Trail Jamboree will be held August 13-16, 2014. The event provides four days of entertainment, guided rides, meal opportunities, obstacle course challenges, tons of kid’s events and most of all a great time. Our event is no cost to the public (FREE) and is a great opportunity when it is hot and nasty in the south west to come to the cool and beautiful Paiute Trail. The event features trails wide enough to accommodate all ATVs and UTVs / Side x Sides on the market today and is not restricted to 50” machines. The trails will accommodate all sizes. With literally thousands of miles of OHV trails to ride, Piute County, sits right in the middle of the Paiute ATV Trail, and is the natural location for riders from all over the U.S. and abroad to assemble for the Sixth Annual Paiute Trail Jamboree. The venue is just fabulous for an event like this, all of the rides depart from the City Park and you are able to ride to and from the RV parks, Cabins and Hotel accommodations.
Marysvale prides itself as the most OHV friendly city in America, people come here from all over the world and are simply amazed at the amount of trails and diversity of riding. Piute County is nestled at the base of the majestic Tushar Mountains in a high mountain valley. Every city in the county allows OHV access on city streets year round. Riders can experience high mountain desert climates in the morning and within hours climb to the highest point on the trail system at over 11,000 feet and have lunch amidst beautiful Aspen lined meadows and streams. The Jamboree provides something for everyone, guided trail rides, live music, competitive events, drag races, and a mud pit belly flop contest to name a few.
Piute County is simply “'the destination” for UTV, SXS and ATV enthusiasts. Marysvale is currently home to two large RV parks, two motels, numerous cabin rentals, several restaurants and a well-stocked convenience store. We are not a big county, but we have just what you need to make your visit comfortable without all the traffic and noise.
Piute County sits on some of the most interesting geology in the country, a rock hounds dream vacation, due to several ancient volcanoes and calderas. Fishing is plentiful at Piute Reservoir State Park, Otter Creek State Park as well as the Sevier River which winds its way the length of the county and the numerous streams and reservoirs. Also of note, is the proximity of Fremont Indian State Park and Museum which is only 17 minutes away. The Paiute Trail system is consistently rated a top destination for OHV enthusiasts.
